  1. to try and say men and women are equal is total bullshit...women give birth ..nurture and provide the softer side of human nature . I thank  God for that but as far as being equal under the law I know this is **** divorced father of 3 living in poverty  while my ex is living the high life. Until we recognize that women can and do work and provide us guys are hosed

wow us guys are hosed?.....awful but ya get my point

  2. They still want things like censored speech for words that make them feel bad and maternity leave/public funded daycare. They also want to be the savior that they rejected for women in the third world. Both things are stupid. Unless the language is threatening, there is no need to censor what somebody says.

Maternity leave and daycare are not things that taxpayers should be paying for. If you have a kid, it is your problem to figure out what you will do with it if you need to or want to work after having it.

As for the last thing, they are atheists. Atheists use utilitarianism and other rubbish ideas to maximize the pleasure principle to fulfill their utopia, a heaven on earth. The fact that they care more about women on the other side of the world than their own nation makes me wonder why they don't move to where they want to be Christ like.

  3. It's a mans world.  Women deserve more rights.

This comes out of the mouth of a man friend of mine.  I am simply passing on what he said.

  4. Men and women have always been equal.  Feminists want them to be treated equally, which they are not.  There probably are feminists who want women to have more rights than men, they certainly don't represent the majority of us.

  5. I don't agree that men and women are truly seen as equal yet.  It is a proven fact that a woman doing the exact same job with the exact same credentials as a man is still paid less.  It is also true that women are promoted less often than their male counterparts.

This is not equality.  Women are not looking to gain more rights than men,... we just want to be considered by merit not menstration.

  6. I just wish people will stop complaining about it. I think that men and women are equal but there are going to be feminist women that think women should have more rights and there are going to be crazy guys that think that women should not have any rights. And then there are many people in the middle. There will always be haters.

  7. so a bunch of dykes can get together and cry

  8. Women are not equal in the third world.  You only think of feminism being a western issue.  Women's rights is a global issue.  The point of it is that both genders are on equal footing.  Feminism is still needed in various parts of the world.

  9. to demand for more special rights and privileges at the expense of the interests of society as a whole.

  10. Don't worry your pretty little head about it.

  11. well, i think men still have more rights noting all the attention is on men sports leagues

  12. Women already have more rights than men. Some of them just don't realize it.

  13. All humans are born with equal unalienable rights.  No one can have more or less rights than any other person.  Just as humanism fought for men to have legal protections for their unalienable rights, feminism strives to ensure that women have legal protections for their unalienable rights (previously denied by men), equal opportunity and complete restructuring of current male self-serving social systems and institutions to better and more fairly accomodate women rather than only accomodating men as though men and male bodies and patriarchal visions are the gold standard for being a human and women are "less than that" and should "make do".  For example, most medical and nutritional research wasn't even required to include women as research subjects until feminists fought for legal protections to be medically studied as well.   As long as our legislative bodies remain dominated by men, as long as women face sexual discriminations and put downs, as long as women are considered to be and are acculturated to be mere sexual objects, as long as male-entitlement paradigms burden women with expectations of servitude and unfair advantages, and as long as women and children remain the largest demographic group living in poverty anywhere in the world, there remains a "point" to feminism.

  14. Don't take offense to this...

Feminism is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. If women want to be a mans equal then they can't file sexual harassment suits, they can't cry about menstruation, they have to go to Iraq and die for this country, they don't get maternity leave after having a baby that time off has to come out of their vacation time, they can't get WIC checks because its their own fault for having s*x and getting pregnant when they knew they couldn't afford it, no more whining about how much your back hurts because you got breast implants and now they're too heavy for you, no more free drinks at bars, and no more asking guys to carry things for you.

See? Girls aren't guys equals, they have it better than we do. If you foolish feminists want to give all that up to get paid a couple cents more, then have at it. But don't come back crying about all the things you've lost, it'll be your own fault!

  15. Maybe speaking in legal terms, they're fairly equal, but men and women are still treated differently (eg. there's still a lot of stereotypes and the like, not to mention in the military, women aren't allowed in front line units and so on). While sexism doesn't tend to be so open and blatant as before, there is still subtle sexism everywhere you look whether you realise it or not.

  16. Well...I think there are a missunderstood when we talk about justice, fairness and similar terms. This is a problem that the first libertarians like Locke, Smith and others used to have, the question is, how an equal treat could be discrimination?, the point is, for us, who support quotes, who has been for anti feminist as advantage for women, quotes are a special impulse for groups with historical disadvantages.

We, for cultural reasons, don't have equal conditions.

  17. I don't want women to have more rights than men.

In my feminist view, we need to dedicate ourselves to maintenance alone... however, women in Africa desperately need feminist assistance.
