Does it have anything to do with his "GLOBAL VILLAGE" theme - "we are the world". What is the thinking involved in deciding on such a backdrop?

  1. Maybe he feels he is beyond a rock star and either feels he is in the same league as Caesar or possibly bigger than a Greek God. Or maybe, just maybe, its actually going to be a toga party. In either case as an independent Im more disgusted than impressed.

  2. What till all the lost blinded people bow down to him tonight.

  3. Yawn, you must have no life to analyze this.

  4. If you had read the article you posted you would have seen this:

""Some 80,000 supporters will see Obama appear from between plywood columns painted off-white, reminiscent of Washington's Capitol building or even the White House""

Why do Washington historic buildings resemble Greek temples?  It was the fashion of our founding fathers.

  5. Maybe in one of his family situations there was some Greek ancestry, and it came out came out subliminally in his choice of design?

Who the heck knows, and what possible difference could it make?

  6. bill clinton is going to do what brutus did to cesaer.

  7. I suppose he is trying to convince us all that he is some kind of great mythical god.

  8. Greece was the birthplace of democracy, which seems apt after the last 8 years.
