I think Rick Astley is a good singer so whats the point of being Rick Rolled? is it some sort of joke? I don't get it.

Yeah, some guy started it, it basically misdirects them, from videos they wanted to see. Its just a joke that started up on youtube, but it can get kind of annoying if you have been constantly Rick Rolled.
