What is the point of the Yu-gi-oh card gather your mind?

All it does is let's you get another gather your mind out of your deck so from what I can see all it does is gives you a free deck shuffle

It doesnt actually do much however it does shorten ur deck so u can get even more of ur good cards sooner!! Remember shortening ur deck is a big part in dueling!! ^_^

Most people use "Gather Your Mind" in an Exodia deck, where it thins the deck so drawing Exodia is easier.
