What is the policy of alcohol for checked luggage on airlines?

I'm traveling to LAX soon and my parents are giving me alcohol to put into my checked luggage to pass on to family in LA. The thing is that I'm under 21 and will the TSA make a big deal of this when they screen it or when i come out to baggage claim?

The scanners will not quarantine your baggage just because they contain bottles of alcohol. You should go directly to baggage reclaim where you will merely collect your luggage and walk out of the terminal.

Don't worry nobody will approach you about your age.

There is no link between a passengers age and the scanning process.
