I need to know what the percentages are of different nationalities in Ireland. For example, America is like 50% caucasion, 20% hispanic, etc.

I just need to know the information for Ireland.

  1. From the 2006 census

    94.8% White

    1.3% Asian

    1.1% Black

    1.1% Other/mixed

    1.7% Not stated

  2. Funky Monk is somewhat right. We have large ethnic communities now, large by Irish standards.

There are about 70,000 chinese. 20,000 africans 175,000 eastern europeans. Less than 1,000 south americans.

Of course the eastern europeans are caucasians.

So percentage wise you are talking 98% caucasian, 1.5% asian, .5% african.

    All numbers approxiomate.....

  3. That's hard to decipher excactly...

Ireland has become like how America was and I suppose still is, for people looking for work. We now have a very large Chinese community, a large Eastern European community (IE. Polish, Lithuanian), a large South Asian Community (IE. India, Pakistan, Thailand) and a large African Community.

  4. Hmm, I can't find a straight answer anywhere.

    http://www.rte.ie/news/2007/0726/census....

This shows ethnic divisions in certain areas, though, so it might help.
