  1. The island of Ireland does not have a zip code, in the UK & Republic of Ireland zip codes are called postcodes.

In the Republic of Ireland only Dublin city has postcodes and to elaborate on Stephen T's answer, the six counties of Northern Ireland which form part of the UK have postcodes and can be found using the Royal Mail postcode link.

  2. depends what part of Ireland you want to write  to that's like saying whats the post code of Scotland  you need to be more precisehttp://postcode.royalmail.com/portal/rm/... try this link

  4. Ireland doesn't have any.Address your letter as follows

    Mr.John Doe

    Your street,

    Anytown,

    Co. Xxxxx,

    Rep. of Ireland.

    Hope this helps.

  5. We dont have 'zip coes' here.

all the southside of Dublin are post code even numbers

all the northside of Dublin are post code odd numbers.

    sorry if thats confusing!

  6. an example of postcode in ireland would be.

2 letters followed by 6 numbers.

    LX 132003

there is no generic number, it depends where you want to post to.

  7. Don't mind the other two posters we don't use zip or post codes in Ireland.  In Dublin the areas are split by numbers, southside are even numbers and north side are odd numbers.  The rest of it goes by street name, Town, County or Townland, Town, County.  Hope this helps.
