  1. You need to know at least the general area of the place you are looking for. What kind of address do you need to look up?

  2. Postcode is from D1 to D24.

Even numbers south of the river

  3. The are many postcodes for Dublin.  Pick a number 1 - 24.

  4. Dublin has Postal Districts numbered 1 to 24 which you can see at the site below with a list of the names of the suburbs under each number.

Districts 1 and 2 are city centre street addresses, a typical address would be

    G.P.O.

    O'Connell St.

    Dublin 1

From 3 -24 are the suburbs of Dublin and are addressed as follows:

    Name,

    House Number,  Street Name,

    District (e.g. Ballybough),

    Dublin 3

Dublin address outside the city and suburbs just add: County Dublin.

  5. try electoral register.Post codes go from 1 t0 24

  6. There's no one postcode for Dublin. Depending on the area, it could be Dublin 1, 2, 3 right up to 24, or it could even be Co. Dublin. On the southside (south of the Liffey) all the numbers are even (Dublin 2,4 and so on) and on the northside the numbers are odd, if that helps. If there's a specific area you were looking for, maybe you could post it and someone here might be able to tell you exactly?
