  1. Isn't it great how people say 'look at' but then don't tell you how?

As everyone has said.  There is no ONE post code for England.  Every address has a different one.

If you have an address, you can use this link to find a Post Code.

    .

  2. Depends on which address in England - they all have different codes x*x

  3. dont completely understand your question, however, go on to The Royual Mail website and follow the directions for post codes.  England is divided into millions of postcodes so you'll need to have the address for which you want the code.

  4. ENGLAND DOESNT HAVE A POST CODE, EACH TOWN/STREET HAS ITS OWN.

  5. each street has its own code if u know the address you want go to the link below and it will give you the code

  6. england does not have A postal code...each city is coded differently.

that's like asking what is the postal code for the usa???

  7. what kinda question is that?

  8. eh ?  there are thousands

  9. all depend where in uk, we are all different.

  10. What is a postel,  please?

  11. You need to go to the Post Office website and find their postcode search engine.  UK as such does not have a post code.  A post code [or postal code] is issued to each address or two or more houses or flats in the same street.  What the post code does, is to narrow down the sorting to a small area for the delivery of mail.

  12. eh? england has various postal codes starting with usually an abbreviation of the area that they serve, a number indicating a section of this area and a further 3 digits narrowing the band down to a group of a few houses. an example british postcode would be AL9 8TB

if you mean phone number, +44 preceeds a british phone number if you are calling it internationally (and you must remember to lop the first 0 off the number after +44!)

    eg 01368 738 847 would become +44 1368 738 847

  13. That is a stupid question!

  14. Each town and area has it's own postcode.

Check out postcodeanywhere.co.uk.  Just enter an address, and it'll give you the postcode.

  15. England doesn't have a single postal code, check the Royal Mail website for the relevant one for the address to which you want to post things.

  16. What? Where for? Everyone has a different one. A postal code is the UK equivalent of a US zip code.

  17. USA51, methinks...

  18. There is no postal code for England as a whole. Each area has its own codes.

  19. There is no specific postal code for england.

Each area has a main code, which forms the first part of the post code (e.g. RH, GU etc...)

Then the numbers&letters remaining are used to narrow down to the specific areas (so RH2 is specifically Reigate) and then the very last bit of the postcode is the specific road.

    Hope this helps!!

  20. There are thousends it depends on what area you are looking for.

  21. There isn't one. Every town and city has its own codes.

  22. well if you are looking to phone the uk then u need to use 0044 or +44 in front of the phone number. there is no postal code for the uk, on an envelope you would write united kingdom at the bottom, that's it, hope that helped and cleared up a few things.
