  1. Electrical power consumption is measured in KWH. 1KWH=1 Unit.

All electrical appliances consume power as per their design & capacity and specified by manufacturer. Standard celling fan consume 100W of power which means in 10 hrs it will consume 1 Unit. Light bulbs consumes power based on their wattage capacity. Tube lights are available in 20 W, 36W and 40W. Monitor will consume power as per their size and specification. LCD monitor consume less power than cathode ray tube monitors.

  2. 4 llight,PC,Fan, or other appliances etc, power consumption of dat device depends upon its wattage rating.

like if a lite of wid 40W, its power consumption is 40W.

  3. lights: Whatever the wattage rating says (60 watts, etc.)

    pc: about 200 watts

fan, small radio, clock: less than 10 watts

heater, stove, dryer: 1000 watts or more (while the heating element is on)

The cost of the electricity depends on kilowatt-hours, which is the power used times the time it is on.  So a 100-watt bulb that stays on 10 hours uses 1000 watt-hours (1 kwh).

  4. A single 100 watt light bulb= 100 watts

    A 1500w. hair drier=1500w.

    A PC around 200/300w.

    An electric oven ~3000w

    A microwave~1000w.

    A toaster oven ~1000w

    A digital alarm clock ~30w.

    A regular TV ~150w.

    A fan ~250/300w.

    A 1 hp. motor~1760w.

    A DVD player ~75w.(off ~3w.)

    A 100w. compact fluorescent  ~37w.

These are just rough figures, each device should have the power requirements printed on a label on the product.
