What is the power supply I would need for my system?

I have an Intel DG33fbc motherboard, 4 GB RAM (DDR2)

2 wetern digital HDD. 2 Cd-roms. & Nvidia 9800 GX2

  1. You'll never regret having too much power. You'll definitely regret not having enough.

    I'd go with a Silverstone 500w at least.

    But as mentioned, 700w would not be amiss! Silverstone is my favorite brand. I put them in the many computers I've built and have yet to have one problem with them. Conversely, I've had problems with nearly every single cheaper brand power supply I've ever purchased.

    I attached a link to the "source" section which calculates the total wattage needed by your components.  

  3. at least 550watt.  I'd say go for a 700watt...
