  1. Domestic Production is around 8-9/Million Barrels a Day. The United States is its biggest single supplier. Second place is Canada..

    Thats right, in 2007, both Canada and Mexico independently sold more oil to the USA than any Arab/Middle Eastern or South American country ...

  3. we pump from within the country about 25% of what we consume.  The companies that supply oil and gasoline to the US buy on the world markets.  I think a lot of it comes from the middle east and from South America and Russia

  4. Surprising most of the oil coming into the U.S. is from Canada. We actually produce about a third of the oil we consume. From our production a quarter of it is exported. Collectively OPEC countries make up about 50% of oil imports. Here is a great link that shows where the oil comes from:
