  1. i didnt know there was a difference other than the size of the hardrives.

    the best current ps3 is the 80gb model.


  2. the core PS3 is the new 80GB that is being release this September. It is the exact same as the 40GB just twice the HDD space. There isnt any Premium right now, but I guess you could call the current 80GB the premium.
