haha, I heard he didn't have one and they just gave him a 'W' initial to prevent confusion with his father and because it sounded 'smart'. I think my story is funnier then 'Walker'.

George Herbert Walker Bush was given the name Walker after Uncle George Herbert Walker, Jr. offered his father Prescott a job at G.H. Walker and Co., the private Wall Street banking firm founded by his father, BushÃƒÂ¢Ã‚Â€Ã‚Â™s maternal grandfather.

When George Herbert Walker and Barbara Bush had the current President, they dropped the name Herbert but kept walker so the current President was not a "Junior" and that way he would not be called "Junior".

Many people still call him Junior so it really didn't help much. Of course, he has many other worse names these days so who really cares LOL
