  1. Concrete will be more and last much longer. The cost of oil does not effect asphalt. It is usually made with recycled products.

  2. roughly speaking, asphalt costs about 1/2 as much as concrete but conrete lasts twice as long.

I think concrete looks better when finished correctly. for a little more, you could have decorative coloring added to the concrete and/or stamp patterns into it. Can't do that with asphalt.

  3. Well asphalt will be more money because of the oil, (price of oil so high), you7 should spend the money on an asphalt driveway because it will last better and longer. (be sure to seal it like every other year) cement is good for a year or so but when it freezes it can crack a driveway, and if heavy objects fall or go on it, it will crack, then you have a junky driveway. Go with asphalt. :)

  4. Well so far you haven't gotten a correct answer so here goes. Asphalt is highly controled by oil prices and has increased substantially over the last 2 years. It might be a little less expensive to put down an asphalt driveway but if you want it to have the life cycle of concrete it will be much more expensive. A concrete driveway should be close to asphalt in price but will last 4 times longer with little or no maintenance.
