What is the price for a gallon of regular gas in your area?

I live in Huntsville, Alabama and a gallon of regular gas runs $3.98 downtown and $3.85 in "gasoline alley" on the south side of the city.

I've seen pictures of gas stations in other parts of the country with prices almost $1.00 higher than what I'm paying down here. Its kind of shocking to me because prices haven't risen much more than a nickel since I moved down here a month ago.

Most stations around my area are charging $3.88/gal. for regular gas. Which is very good compared to the rest of the country.

However, in a town that's maybe 10 minutes away, I have seen gas as much as 30 cents higher than the stations in my town.

But yes, gas is almost $5 a gallon in some parts of the country, and it is completely ridiculous... Imagine if you drove a diesel truck in those parts? $6+ a gallon anyone?

$4.19 a gallon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  But the suburbs where they do not have to use the Ethenol blend (reformulated) it's about $3.99

I'm around Cincinnati and the prices seem to be around 4.25 or so.

On a somewhat related note, I haven't actually purchased gasoline in almost four months.  I live in an urban area, sold my car, and now get around by bicycle.  I've lost around 40 pounds or so and have saved a few hundred bucks.  If you don't have far to drive for work and it seems plausible, I highly recommend giving bike commuting a try, if for no other reason than to save the cash.

in shreveport la it ranges from $3.85 to at more exp stations $3.98 or more.. thats for regular unleaded.
