Apple makes all iPods; there is no difference. Just like a Civic versus a Honda Civic.

The prices don't seem to match what Jon said. I'm coming up with $149 for the 4GB and $199 for the 8GB. If you purchase it online, you can also get the back engraved for free, which will help in identifying your ipod if it is ever to get stolen.

And trust me, unless you keep it in you pockets at all times, somebody will steal it.
