What is the price of gas in your city for July 08?

I live in the Chicago area where the gas prices are extremely high. Right now it's about $3.45 for mid-grade. I'm curious to see what you are paying for a gallon of gas. Thanks!!

4.45 as well in So Cal.

Well in Canada we are paying around $1.38 per litre

1 US Gallon = 3.785 Litres  

$1.38 x 3.785L= 5.22

The silly thing is that we sell the US all our gas and they sell it back to us.

So $3.45 does  does not seem that bad.  Consider our dollar is worth the same as the US one now.

SF bay area down on the penninsula in Mountain View is $4.57 at the 76 station i just went to.

right now... southern pines, NC (28387)  best i have found is $3.98regular unleaded per gallon ,,  it hs been fluctuating between that and $4.05 per gallon midgrade and premium are much higher...

Just so that you guys can get this in proportion, in the UK we are paying £1-17 per litre.

That is £4-43 per US gallon.

Which is $8-81 per gallon

I paid $4.649 for premium the other day in Great Neck, NY

I felt so stupid for running low on gas in an area full of rich people

It went back down to $4.fortysomething for premium at my local station near Belmont racetrack though
