  1. Gasoline is about $4.15 where I am, but natural gas, which my cars run on, is only 85 CENTS per gallon. Yeah, baby!

  2. 3.98 a gallon ,and all my vehicles are V8 "gas - guzzlers" ,so it costs me 20 dollars just by accelerating from a red light.

  3. Needed some apples,  went to Safeway-- no good deals on apples but got some onions.

Stopped and picked up the mail from the post office.

Had to go deposit a check in the bank-- went over there.

Stopped at the Home Depot to check out Air conditioners, no good deals.

Health food store for Oats and Cranraisens, a little Blue cheese.

Onto WalMart --found the apples- got 5 pounds.  and a BIG can of coffee.

Onto last store and scored some Lemon squares.  Loaded then onto my Electric Bicycle which I have been taking every where, and easily hauled everything home.

    No big deal.

    Had an afternoon Adult beverage.

I think gas was  $3.95, but I did not use any.

  4. 136¢/litre this morning ( Toronto, On. )

As far as my driving is concerned, it's not too bad considering I'm close to work so a tank of gas can last up to 2 weeks for me.  I am noticing groceries getting more expensive though due to the increased shipping costs.

  5. I have cut back on driving and I also traded my truck(2006 GMC) for a Nissan Rogue. The Nissan gives me 35MPG as the truck gave me 14MPG. The prices around here are out of control, one station is $4.17 for reg. and 1/2 a mile down the road the same brand is $3.89. Is someone ripping us off? This is in Ipswich Ma.

  6. $4.17 at my last fill up, and it does change your way of driving. I don't get the buzz about hybrids....if we all drove hybrids the oil companies would say that they're not selling enough gas and have to raise the price...we lose both ways. I have been on this planet for 46 years and when I was 10 I read in Popular Science that we're going to run out of fossil fuel....didn't say when but soon. That was a good enough reason to go green then, and that so-called oil embargo of the early 70's....what was that about. Third world countries are the blame now....WOW...I haven't seen anything in the news in the way of someone turning in their yak for a Vespa and waiting in line at a gas pump! I'm sorry for us all,  if gasoline was the only thing causing this economy to fail then that's a dam good reason to get of the barrel and get on the battery. The only one making any money out of this is the oil companies.....and its been 19 years since the Exxon/Valdies accident...and its still in court!!! Thats our government.....hand and hand with big business .....

  7. The price of gas this morning is $3.89, down from 3.94 last week. I grocery shop now in large quantities every 2 weeks instead of twice a week. I ride the city bus twice a week to do other errands. I'm even starting to buy generic foods and no more junk or fast foods.  Water only, no soft drinks,  forget the cinema....the list is endless.
