What is the price range for a nice 4 bedroom house?

I'm looking to relocate to northern Cali and need an idea of what, besides San Fran, where to live. What would the price of a nice 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house range?

look on zillow.com there should be plenty of info on houses in the area. really depends on what kind of area you want to move into, and how close to the city you are.  there are many dangerous areas in northern california, so i would make sure you like the neighborhood first.  i would avoid oakland for sure.  in surrounding safer areas, expect to pay no less than 600k, if you are paying less, than something is wrong with the house or area.

Northern California is a huge area - you need to be more specific. Anything near the SF area, East Bay, or Sacramento will still be incredibly pricey. If you are specifically looking for a lower priced area, try some of the smaller cities or more rural areas, such as Williams, Orland, Yuba City, etc.
