    "About 65 % of filtered solutes (mostly Na+ and its associated anions) and water are reabsorbed in the proximal tubule. Another 25 % of the filtered Na+ is reabsorbed in the ascending limb of Henle’s loop, 5 % in the distal convoluted tubule and 4 to 5 % in the collecting duct. "
