While yes, economic growth/wealth/accumulation (managed by the state rather than market or corporate forces) is shared with everyone in socialism, what problems are there with socialism??

  1. If the state owns everything, no one will try extra hard.

  2. It has no flavor.

  3. 1) Too much government control over day to day lives of people. The govt. interference we have in our lives the better off we are.

    2) There is no free market economy. It's not right for the state, me or anybody else to get something that we didn't earn. That's called theft. Rob from the rich to give to the poor.

    3) Total mediocrity with all of us even. I believe if someone has a talent and can make money with it more power to them. I do not have a problem with "class warfare".

too complicated to say for myself . all political ideas have its own problems . it all depends on who ur using it on, its good for some countries while horrible for others

  5. "rich is getting richer, while the poor is getting poorer.."

  6. Socialism doesn't work; it's been proven time and time again.

Have you ever known of the government managing anything that it didn't s***w up?     Socialism sounds ideal on paper, but it doesn't work.

If you work hard, you expect to be rewarded and recognized.  You expect to make more money and to be advanced.

Under socialism, everyone works and is paid according to need, not rewarded for doing a better job.    Therefore noone works to capacity---why bother?

Socialism never worked; never will work.

Look at the USSR--- their economy was in a shambles for almost 100 years of socialism, and still hasn't recovered.

Capitalism provide a driving force to develop business and create wealth and raise standards of living which cannot happen with socialism.

  7. With the profit incentive gone, there's not much of an incentive to work hard and be productive.  With no competition, there is less efficiency and innovation.  Also, less of an incentive to give good customer service.  The government cannot always effectively gauge the market demand as well as, well the market, which can lead to surpluses or shortages.

  8. its communism thats what the matter with it no one can make any money and our country wont either thats why the soviet union

    collapsed
