  1. China is a suppressed country. Suppressed, depressed, overly polluted, highly controlled and regulated, and ultimately completely COMMUNIST.  Communism is a socioeconomic structure that promotes the establishment of an egalitarian, classless, stateless society based on common ownership of the means of production and property in general.   It is usually considered to be a branch of socialism, a broad group of social and political ideologies, which draws on the various political and intellectual movements with origins in the work of theorists of the Industrial Revolution and the French Revolution, although socialist historians say they are older.[Communism attempts to offer an alternative to the problems believed to be inherent with capitalist economies and the legacy of imperialism and nationalism. Communism states that the only way to solve these problems would be for the working class, or proletariat, to replace the wealthy bourgeoisie, which is currently the ruling class, in order to establish a peaceful, free society, without classes, or government.[The dominant forms of communism, such as Leninism, Stalinism, Maoism and Trotskyism are based on Marxism, but non-Marxist versions of communism (such as Christian communism and anarchist communism) also exist and are growing in importance since the fall of the Soviet Union.

The people of China are completely controlled by government and their interpretation of religion, freedom and education is very biased. What is the problem with Human Rights in China?  They have none!  I came home singing God Bless America and the Star Spangled Banner!

  2. there's nothing wrong with human rights in china. you must visit china to believe. there is seriously nothing wrong there. i saw it with my own two eyes, and i also have many friends who are native chinese. none of them feels that they are being deprived or surpressed. you must know a native chinese to understand.

  3. I have noticed that many Chinese people, whenever human rights issues in China are mentioned, do one of three things.

    1.  They do not seem to know anything about it.

    2.  They assume that we have been duped by biased western media.

    3.  They attack the west for treatment of Aboriginal people, or they talk about Quebec or even Corsica.

There is no doubt, in the mind of nearly all reasonable and fair-minded western people, that the GOVERNMENT in China, not the PEOPLE, abuses human rights.

Computers and the Internet will force a situation in which the Beijing government will no longer be able to control information.  Then, and only then, will human rights abuses in China stop.  It is the PEOPLE (with their industry and spirit and capacity to endure) not the GOVERNMENT, that is the strength of the PRC.

  4. Pagan Dan, you've made some mistakes.

We KNOW everything about our human rights, and we often criticise our government privately. Human rights is really a big problem in China.

The western media has been attacked recently. Why? It's because of Tibet. TIBET HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HUMAN RIGHTS. Lots of westerners are innocent on this issue.

    Sorry for my poor english.

  5. How about USA, always enjoy invading other countries!

  6. the police give out beat downs for no reason and if u try and express free speach they drive over u with tanks.  Plus they eat all sorts of animals dogs, camels, budgies etc.

  7. To be honest they don't have many.

Only in the last 10 years have they been improving, hand in hand with modernisation. Ideally westerners would like to see them tomorrow but thats not likely to happen.

  8. I must agree  thoroughly  with Pagan  Dans answer.     After being in China for 2 years now. I  do not  feel surpressed  here.  I have been treated with respect  and dignity  by the  local authories.  No one seems to have  been over  authoritive or abusive.
