is there a particular spot or position on the floor that a substitute has to come in for during a high school volleyball game?

  1. Once the ball is dead you can make a substitution between the attack line and the net on the bench side. A libero can just run on and off and is not classed as a substitution


  2. You have to be between the net and ten foot line.

  3. It has to be when there is a dead ball.  You (who is going out) has to face out while the person who is going in has to face the court.  You guys have to be between the net and the ten foot line.  The ref blows the whistle, you guys stand there will the people doing the stats record your jersey no. and then the ref signals to go.  It is that simple.  Hope I helped :-)

  4. The best place is between the net and the ten foot line on the sideline near the bench. Also the person going in should face the court and the person coming out faces off court. Both of you put your hand up, like a high five. And normally it is the right hand. Then when the ref give the ok the substitute goes on the court.
