  1. plug in your usb

    goto my computer

browse to the "data" you want on the other computer

right click on main folder select copy

    browse to your flash drive

    right click and select paste

    once done unplug the usb

goto other computer and go about copying it all in

  2. To get information onto your flash drive you must plug it into the computer.  The first time you plug it in it may ask you a couple of questions.  I cannot tell you how to answer them since I do not know what brand of flash drive you own.  Anyway, once it is in, go to my computers and click on the drive it is in (i.e. k, or j).  Then open my documents and get to the files you wish to transfer.  Drag the icon of the documents onto the window where your flash drive is (i.e. k, j).  It may take a couple moments to put the data on their.  It will be in both your documents and on the flash drive once the download is complete.  After it is on the flash drive safely eject the flash drive.  Then plug the flash drive into the new computer and transfer the files by draging them from the flash drive (i.e. k, j) onto your documents (on the new computer).  Hopefully this will work.  If it does not, please feel free to write additional details on this question and I will try to fix any problems you are having.

  3. Plug in the flash drive

Go to my computer, find the flash drive icon, double click it.

Drag the files that you want into this folder.

Close the window and unplug the flash drive

Repeat on the new computer, only copy the files off onto the computer hard drive.
