What is the process between NOC to Work VISA

Question

I got the offer from Bahrain company one and half months back and i have submitted my passport and other details for VISA process

Till now I am thinking I will be getting working VISA but today I come to know that I will be getting only NOC (No Objection certificate) from Bahrain to enter into Bahrain.

Any one can explain what is the process between NOC to Work permit, and can any one tell me what is CPR no. and who will process for that?

The NOC is basically the visa, being that Bahrain is having No Objection for you to enter Bahrain. Once you are in the country, you have to do your medicals, then your CPR will be applied and then your Residence Permit will be stamped in your passport. All will be processed by your employer.

The CPR (Central Population Registration) card is an identity card unique to every Bahrain resident. In the case of a worker, you can imagine it as a Labour Profession Card. It comes with your passport details, labour profession and sponsor among other relevant details.

Not to Worry. Bahran Govt gives NOC valid for a period of 3 months to enter. It is the resonsibility of the employer to get work visa after your entry. NOC allows you o take up employment and for entry at immigration. CPR is Central Population register which gives you an ID that you are a resident of Bahrain. This is given after you get the Residence permit which is again given along with your work visa. Wrk visa is kept by eployer whereas residence permit is stamped on your Passportmentioning the date of expiry. CPR gets you everywhere in Bahrain and it is an ID for bahrain.

I have seen plenty of questions from u yaar ..U r very curios regarding the tthings in Bahrain .

See u get Only NOC to enter into the Bahrain from the Company. you have to show the copy of it and Agreement or Offer letter  at the Immigration in Airport while travelling other wise they may trouble u (especially Hyd.Airport it seems u r from Hyd.) then after arrival here in Bahrain ur comapny rep. will show the Original NOC in the Immigration and clear u .Later it will take nearly 1 month to process for ur CPR (As now it is getting delayed as recently  LMRA has taken  care of  this services ) and then you have go for the Medical examination then Your passport will go stamping of the Residence permit /work permit . OK It may take another 15 days.

Then u can process ur self for bank Account and Licence and family visa if ur entitled.
