  1. Just walk across the border and announce at a hospital, "I'm here to work!"

  2. I don't know the exact procedure, but one doctor I knew attended and graduated medical school in Guadalajara.  (Did I spell that right?)  I am unsure if he completed his residency in Mexico or not, but he eventually made it to the United States.  He advised that he should have taken the last year or two of medical school in the United States, due to licensing issues.  Apparently he ended up having to redo some education in order to meet the requirements of licensing here.

That is not nearly enough information, but perhaps a clue as to the final answer.

  3. run jump and swim and then spend about 4000 for good papers

  4. i'm not sure what the process is but maybe this website may help you    http://www.shusterman.com/medguide.html

I know that with an RN a hospital will need to sponsor them and offer a job, then they would be working under the supervision of an RN (with limited duties) until they take a the necessary nursing classes and then take the NCLEX test in the state they want to practice... may be the same for a doctor but not sure... anyways GOOD LUCK!!!   there is a high demand for RN's and doctors in the U.S. so you may find a hospital that is willing to sponsor you...

  5. I am a doctor, I can help with the question. Because the process is complicated even for American doctors, I will tell you the basics.

Any details, you can ask later because is difficult to explain all the process.

First, to get a license in the USA as a physician, your credentials will be verified including your medical school, your pre med, etc. Every state in the USA has their requirements that can vary but in general you need to pass tests. Your school needs to be checked to see if you are eligible to sit for the tests because if not, then you can't take them.

Some states requires that besides medical school you need to have more years of experience in a postgraduate program. So just having a diploma is not going to grant you a license.

If you meet the requirements then they allow you to take the test. Now you are talking about California.

    Californa Medical requires:

a licensing fee of $850.00 dollars

    application fee $493.00 dollars

    non refundable

and because you are foreign graduate they will verify your credentials using FCVS.

The minimum of postgraduate training for IMG (International Medical Graduates) is 3, so after your medical school you need to have 3 years of extra training.

You need to take USMLE STeps 1,2 and 3. ( Step 2 is 2 parts) so in total there are 4, and they have a limit on how many times you can take the test

Any questions, the Medical Board also will contact you and you have to appear.

Good luck, hope this information helps.
