What is the process for paying a car insurance bill?

I know...naive...do you write a check and send them it or does it come out of your bank account automatically? How do you know when to pay it and what day to pay it? I have only payed my deposit to get it started, so I don't know when I need to make my next payment...lol...confused and naive, very naive...

It depends on your insurance company policies. Sometimes you pay with check or the amount will be directed from your bank account. Usually insurance companies are sending bill with next due dates.
