What is the process of cloning animals?

I'm trying to build an army of llamas and I really need to know.

  1. Put in simple terms:

    First, you get the DNA from one cell of the "source" animal.

    Next, you locate a FEMALE aniaml of the same type, and you collect her ovum (eggs). You remove the original DNA from the ovum, and insert the DNA from the "source" animal.  Next, you put the egg in a chemical solution that contains the hormones necesary to tell the egg that it is fertilized.  Once the egg starts to divide, you put it back into the female animals womb.

    Now, you just wait until the female animal gives birth.

    Currently, that is how it is done.

    The age of making "armies" of clones is still a LONG way off.
