    Basically, you acquire a work visa based on your qualifications (NZQA accreditation may have to be done). Then you come to NZ, find a job, and simply live and work here for two years. At that time, you can apply for permanent residence.

    Finding tourism jobs here is not hard, and if you have good qualifications, you will most likely have smooth sailing. I would probably give Queenstown a go first. They have a pretty high turnover from what I hear, and there are a lot of internationals there already, which means an existing network for you.
