What is the process taken for production of ceramics?

Ceramic things are just things made of clay (earthenware, porcelain, etc...) and then fired in a kiln. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "the whole process".

You just buy some clay, sculpt it into something, wait for it to dry, and then fire it. After it's been fired, the work can be painted, glazed, or decorated in some other fashion.

You'll need clay, tools, a kiln, and, if desired, paint or glaze.
