I have a relativly new airsoft sniper rifle (VSR-1O Mauri Clone from buyairsoft.ca). I got it roughly3 months ago and havnt lubricated it since then, so the bolt for loading it is getting kinda hard to pull, and i think it would be bad for the gun not to lubericate it. If anyone knows thatd be great!

  1. hmm ive been lubing my gunZ with ky jellay

  2. Synthetic non-petroleum based lubes would be the order of the day. Check the active ingredients in all the lubes you are thinking about using and then see if that is petroleum based (Internet). I think you might be safe with most actual gun lubricants, but look before you leap : )

  3. I would stay away from petroleum based oils or greases.

I am not familiar with your air rifle, but oil based lubes are bad for the black rubber (Buna rubber) in air rifles. I would say you would be safe using a little silicone based spray or lube.
