  1. I would call the precinct he is from and ask. . . he may be a patrolman, or officer, or detective , or Sargent . . . .they will give you his correct title  Good luck

  2. "big daddy"

  3. Officer last name  ie Officer Smith

  4. piggy!! oink oink

  5. You should probably call him Officer and then his last name. For example, if his last name was Smith, then you should call him Officer Smith. Of course, if he is higher up (e.g. a sergeant) then you should address him in the same manner listed above, except with his own title.

  6. His appropriate rank and their last name will work nicely.  It's a very nice gesture the class is making!

  7. Option 1:  Call his local detachment/office and ask for his correct rank/title.

Option 2:  In Canada, the safest bet would be Constable.  In the USA, Officer.

Option 3:  Call him Mr _____ or Sir.  Most of us who work in law enforcement tend to be addressed by our job title too much, and a lot of us find it very refreshing to simply be addressed as an individual (without rank).

As a side note, those in policing very rarely recieve a thank you, so by sending him a card, you could spell his name wrong and he would STILL be happy!

  8. Sir
