What is the proper pronunciation of the work "Kaizen"?

Question

I have heard it pronounced two ways, "Ki zan" or "K(a) zen". It is a business term from Japan but webster doesn't have it on line. I have an interview tomorrow.

Our Black Belt pronounced it Ki-Zen. It means "Change".  

In an interview, what is most important is that you understand the concepts behind the Kaizen and using the kahn-bahn models.  If you can clearly explain these and your participation on a Kaizen team, you're on your way to getting the job.
