What is the proper response when someone says only "cheers"?

Background: It's a customer who sent only this reply to my email.So now I'm looking forward to reply him with a formal answer,but what could that be?Any suggestions?

    you should analize your mail and the reason why he answered this.

  3. "Cheers" in response to an email usually just means (informally), I received your email and all is fine.

    It's a friendly way to acknowledge your email without requesting a formal response.

    A formal reply would be "Thank you", but unless you need to reply you are under no obligation to do so ~ the customer will not be offended and will contact you if s/he needs anything further.

  4. It just means 'thanks' a formal reply would be "You are welcome".

  6. Thank you? Why would you say thank you to someone who has said cheers to you? Someone saying cheers to you is like them thanking you? So the answer would be 'thats alright' or something like that?
