  1. we used to have an agressive blood python...picking him up was interesing...if you have a tank where you can go from the top try bringing your hand from behind the snake (so he cant see your hand coming at him) and get him about mid section...lift him out of the tank carefully and then put him in his pillowcase...i always transport snakes in plastic tubs with air holes drilled in them for air flow...easier to get them in and out of.

  2. Hold it like behind the eyes so it cant reach your hands and when you pick it up have some body help you so its not dragging on the ground!

  3. well when i got my snake they put it in a pillow case and a good sized one inside a pet taxi and if you dont know what that is just in case this is what im talking about but make sure its in a pillow case and that probably the best thing to use and dont handle it for a few hours after takiong it out of the pillow case. this is to transport him

and to hold it it might not be a good idea to hold him around your neck, i do but he can kill you hes stronger than you so just wrap him around your waist and hold his head up above his body and you could also put him around your arm for example like this

    or if you must

all of this depends on your snake if your snake bites or is aggresive then i woulndnt recommend holding it

  4. Im assuming it's aggressive? Try to get the pillowcase over the head first and then pull it over the snake quickly, twist it around and tie it. I've used pillowcases many times and often they seem to calm down in it, but not all of them. I've never had one bite through the bag. I've used pillowcases many times for researching copperheads in the field and that's alot more of a challenge, holding a bag open and trying to get a venomous snake in it without getting bit, talk about breaking a sweat!

  5. Well if your snake is already calm enough (which i believe you know your snake the best right?), just pick it up and put it in pillowcase or whatever you want to put it in.

    Hope this helps ^^

  6. In a coffin on the way to the snake cemetery..

  7. In a carrying cage so he can see and will stay more calm.

  8. with a ten foot pole

  9. in a  napsack
