  2. The trick to doing a really efficient dolphin kick is to realize that it is really a full-body motion.  

    It starts in the torso, when you push your chest down (your butt will go up). The rest of your body will follow. Arch your back to start pulling your body back up, and let the rest of your body follow the wave you've started with your torso.

    You can practice this by doing smooth dolphin dives in shallow water. Really focus on the movement of your body. Push up and off of the bottom of the pool and feel the water against your legs. Thats the force that you'll be pushing against in your kick.

    watch slow motion videos on youtube, try to remember and mimic what they do.

  3. its really simple. just imagine ur legs and feet r glued together. dont move or bend ur knees too much. u reallly have to use ur hips, just flutter kick but with both legs. its really easy just move ur hips and kick together. u should rent movies from the library or something for more tips. good luck.

How well can you hoola hoop?  Imagine a hoola hoop around your waist.  Instead of side to side you are only going back and forth but really exaggerated.  Dolphin kick is a full body movement but you are going to bend your knees a lot 45 degrees.  Most people make the mistake by not bending the knees enough.  There is an upkick and a down kick
