  1. Holding the hoe in front if you with both hands separated by about 18 inches, bring the blade down into the soil and then draw it toward you. As you repeatedly do this, you can dig a furrow for planting certain types of plants or just break up the soil to till it.

  2. I would guess Hoe's really don't care how they're used.  As long as you actually just keep using them so they don't feel unwanted.

  3. Orally for sure, anally if you think she's clean.

  4. wham, bam, thank you ma'am, then out the door.

  5. Man, the possibilities for snarky replies to this one are ENDLESS.

As far as a serious response though, I actually have no idea.

  6. I really don't think they are picky.  Using one properly probably doesn't make much of a difference:)

  7. What kind of hoe do you speak of?

  8. A garden hoe is used either to help turn over the soil, or chop out weeds. A heavy straight blade hoe is best for turning over, aerating the soil, while a wedge-shaped hoe might be better for whacking down the weeds.

A lot depends on timing. Get out there early and whack down those weeds before they get high and tough.

  9. Put the ho in your husband's hands and tell him to get busy.  It doesn't really matter what type of ho we are talking about here.  A man knows how to use a ho.  Just watch him and you will learn.

You will learn either how to use the gardening tool the right way or the proper technique for giving a bitchslap.

BUT, Does he know the difference between a weed and a plant, Therein lies the problem.

  10. LOL!!  hilarious!

I think the correct answer here is....repeatedly.

  11. To use a Hoe, is like using any 'tool' keep it well maintained, it will work well for you. It's in the way you use the hoe that is important. Let it go rusty (then your in big trouble)

  12. Trust an old farm boy to answer without being a wisenheimer. Cant the hoe slightly so one corner is hitting the ground first. If you're right handed it's the right corner. You pull the hoe towards you as you chop downward with it. Just takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it. A good file to frequently file the edge sharp will be required.

  13. Grab the stick part (the handle), if you are right handed, with your right hand furthest away from you  and your palm facing down.

Your left hand is closer to your body and the palm  touches the left side of the stick part .

Stand with your feet apart about the width of your shoulders and your hoe will be hanging in your hands in a diagonal line.    Tip towards the ground and lower than your left hand which will be at waist level.

Bend yourself from the waist and extend both arms.  Then with a strong contraction of the chest and abdomen muscles exert a strong downward movement that should drive the tip about a third into the ground.  Then without lifting it pull towards you only with your arms as you sway backwards just enough the transfer your weight to your back foot which would be your left foot.

    I hope this helps.
