What is the proportion of paint to thinner for airbrushing?

I'm painting a plastic model aircraft, I'd like to know how much paint to mix with the paint thinner, is it 50% to 50%, 60% to 40%? Do I use more paint than paint thinner?

It's hard to say without knowing what kind of paints you're using. You'll have to do a little experimental chemistry on your own. The general rule for airbrush, is to get your paint about as thin as milk. I'd even go a little thinner if you're using a siphon feed gun.
