  1. public transport can be caught from pretty much anywhere, but can get a little confusing if you don't know the lines. Trams are easy because they go along main roads and stop in convenient places.

Petrol is at the moment just <1.50

go here http://www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au/ for more info

    hope i helped :)

  2. Petrol prices are moving around a lot.

Motormouth.com.au shows Melbourne as 1.479 today

You can get some Melbourne Public Transport info from http://www.viclink.com.au/

  3. Melbourne's public transport network is excellent and is probably the best in Australia. A combination of trains, trams and buses makes it very easy to move around and get from point A to B. Ticketing is integrated, so a Metcard provides travel on all 3 modes of transport.

Petrol prices are comparatively low everywhere ATM with the highest price being 159.9, the lowest 147.9 and an average of 157.4 (can't be too much of the 147.9 to arrive at that average). A couple of weeks ago, prices were around 10c higher.

  4. i hope you enjoy our city

public transport in melbourne is probably the best in australia, however it is very congested during peak periods due to the recent increases in the cost of petroleum which has led to more people using public transport, and also because of a lack of investment in public transport infrastructure over the last 40 years.

the cost of petrol today when i filled up was $1.57 per litre
