Windsheild is so you can smoke cigarettes while you are going down the road , tank is so you can go down the road.

its pretty obvious:

windshield: shields rider from wind

gas tank: is a tank for gas

USUALLY the tank is for fuel, but on some bikes like the Yamaha V-Max it is actually the air box .....

The windshield is for deflection of air and or debris.....

the windshield is to deflect air and keep debrigh from hittin the rider and the tank is for fuel. hope that helps
