  1. The biggest purpose of nursery school is socialization.  Getting along with peers, sharing, making friends, taking turns, etc.  Nursery school also helps to teach basic preacademic skills such as counting, ABC's, etc.  Another benefit is learning how to be a member of a school community!  Plus I think most 3-4 year olds think it is a blast!

  2. Nursery school is a school to get your children ready for preschool and kindergarden. It teaches your kids how to socialize with other kids, how they have to follow the teacher's instructions, and that school is supposed to be fun for everyone. If you feel that your child already knows all this then they don't need nursery school. You could start teaching your children how to right their names, teach them the alphabet, teach them how to count up to 10, and teach them if you can how to read. Hope I helped!!

  3. so the kids have and idea of what to expect ing school and so the parents can have some time alone

  4. im guessing so they get use to working with other ppl and so they would learn small basic things

  5. Nursery school is to get kids acclimated to being in a room with lots of other kids, obeying a teacher and getting along with others.

  6. Social interaction.  Parents can do the prep. work at home, but kids need some interaction with their peers.
