  1. scaring the f*** outa ppl and spreading germs

Insects like cockroach are the most hated animals. They are also one of the insects that are most underestimated.

Every creature no matter how small/creepy/crawly/ugly it looks, has a purpose in the ecosystem.

I myself don't like cockroaches but i kill them only when it is absolutely necessary, they are pests after all. Anyway they are going to become the lizards dinner eventually.

But we don't understand them. There are many things to learn from them  - Like -

    They can survive eating anything.

They can  live for weeks with their head cut off.

    They can also survive radiation.

They are very adaptive and get immune to various insect sprays.

They have hard skeleton and don't die easily if you step on them.

These qualities of cockroach need to be studied and can be used for the benefit of humanity.

Though cockroaches are generally considered pests, only about 30 species (less than 1%) infest urban habitats, 55 species in total live in the U.S.

  5. Just because cockroaches are around does not mean that they serve a purpose for man. Cockroaches, like any other species, are trying to survive and ensure that their species carry on.
