What is the purpose of wearing underwear for men and women?

To keep your outer clothing fresher longer since underwear can be washed more often.

Underwear also protects from rough materials and gives some extra shaping to the body.

Well..I love really them when I'm feeling extra s**y.

Then I like the lace boyshorts, and I coordinate them w/ my bra.

Sometimes, I even march them to my outfit.

They are of course, really great during a workout, because they soak up sweat, and keep you dry (not the lace kind, they don't serve any purpose other than looking pretty).

They keep your clothes cleaner, and help them to last longer, since you won't have to wash them constantly the way you wash your underwear.

They hold a pantyliner if you need to wear one.

I'm sure that men are happy to have something that keeps their penises from poking out and acting all crazy in public.

Other than that, ...I really have no idea.

I myself like to be freeeeeeeeee as often as possible.

I think it's to keep the jeans clean and like, I guess for people who have yucky cheese or something, eeps that stuff off of a good pair of jeans... lol

cuts down on rashes to the p***s, tried not wearing underwear for awhile, just like wearing socks cut down on blisters to the feet

honestly going commando hurts. denim is a rough material and having that rubbing all up on delicate parts can hurt. a nice soft buffer piece of fabric is definitely needed
