For a good post?.... definitely you are eyeing for the managerial post. In Malaysia you may need to have a degree preferably in Marketing or Mass Communication.

You must have at least 3 years working experience in supervisory level within the same industry.

Able to do multi tasking and adapt to work under pressure, as you will become a middle person in between your operation and your customer, therefore to become a good call centre manager, you must ensure all follow up are to be done routine every day.

English without a thick accent helps, especially if you are dealing with the public - not internal customers!

I deal with call centres all day as a telecommunications store manager and it helps if you speak slowly and clearly.

for good post you need experience with call centre or in case you want to get in to something like financial services CC then you need to be CA , MBA finance or CFA etc. same is true for other specialised CC.

If you want to get into operations then MBA with ops specialisation or 4 yrs of experience will suffice.

Otherwise you just need to be 12th grade pass with good English without any mother tongue influence.

depending upon the industry, would need a pleasant attitude, willingness to adapt to change and a sense of urgency. Typing skills, PC/Mac skills and interpersonal communication skills are important as well.
