  1. You could go on Eurostar, certain trains stop at Euro Disney.  I am wondering, why would you be in Calais?  If you will be visiting UK why don't you get Eurostar from London straight through.  Check you will be booking for the correct train. Also bear in mind that Eurostar trains go as far as Belgium and your Eurostar ticket will take you on any station in Belgium free of charge.  Worth thinking about.  Have a great time.

  2. I would advise you to take the train from Calais to Lille, and then the high-speed train (TGV) directly to Disneyland Paris (station "Marne la vallee Chessy"). The train go directly to the park, right in front of the entrance, without going through Paris. Also, in Lille, there are 2 stations, "Lille-Europe" and "Lille-Flandres". They are very close to each other but be careful when you make reservation, if you have to make a change, there is a 5 minutes walk between the 2 stations.

The whole trip from Calais to Disneyland takes about 3-4 hours and cost around 40 Euros per person for one way.

You could take the Eurostar, but the problem is that you would have to change train in Paris, which can be hard if you don't know the city, since you have to take the subway, then the local train (RER) to Disneyland, and the whole trip would take you as much time (or more if you get lost).

Use this website to make your reservation : http://www.voyages-sncf.com/

They have deals depending on the passengers ages.

Now if by "going there just for the day" you mean tickets for 1 day, yes there are tickets for visiting the park for just one day. There are 2 parks, Disneyland and Disney Studios, there are tickets for just 1 park or for both parks for 1 day. You can go there for more details and for the prices, which depend on the season : http://offres.disneylandparis.fr/billets...
