  1. London King's cross to Leeds then Leeds to Huddersfield

  2. Quickest Route :-  Get on a train in London go to sleep and wake up in Huddersfield

Cheapest :-  No idea google British Rail

  3. www.nationalrail.co.uk

  4. take the fast train.

  5. Try using the NationalRail website it will tell you the quickest and cheapest rail journey from London to Huddersfield

    Hope this helps

  6. My personal preference would be from London Kings Cross to Leeds (National Express) then Leeds to Huddersfield ( Transpennine).

I'd rather travel on proper coaching stock than a mickey mouse E.M.U.

  7. London Kings x to Wakefield then Wakefield to Hudderfield.

Book an advance ticket if you know you when you are traveling and travel out of the peak periods to get the cheapest fares.

  8. If you have google earth type it in on there and it gives the quickest way! If u havent got it then just download it, its FREE :D

  9. The train jurney times take between 2 hours and 45 minutes and 3 hours 10 minutes. You can catch a train from Kings Cross through to Leeds where you have to change for Huddersfield. Or you can catch a train from Kings Cross Heading to Glasgow Central and change at York.

The prices are about £79.00, but I hope that my answer helps. Joolz

  10. Trains dept from both Kings Cross and Euston both take 2hrs50

cheapest fare 21.50     Those from Kings Cross change at Wakefield  Euston change at Manchester

  11. rdenig_male is trying to take you in completely the wrong direction....and someone has even given him a thumbs up! Whats that all about?

  12. There are three ways - one Huddersfield to Manchester Piccadilly, thence to London Euston (about 3hr 10 mins), another, Huddersfield to Wakefield Westgate, change and then London Kings Cross (about 2hr 45mins)., thirdly Huddersfield to Leeds, change and then King's Cross (about 3hr 5mins). The price for a saver return is the same on all routes, £79.90. It all depends on what time you want to travel. Look at the site below for more details.

I'm surprised yet again, that someone refers you to 'British Rail', an organisation which hasne't existed for upwards of 10 years or more.
