  1. left on base, meaning the runners that did not make it home so they could score. its like getting a hit, runnung to 1st with 2 outs. then the next batter strikes out, the inning ends, and u never score

    It's a negative statistic and the lower LOB you have, the better.

    For example, if the bases are loaded and you're up at bat and you strikeout, you're credited with 3 LOB(3 runners left on base).

    LOB just shows how good you are when you have base runners. If you have a low LOB it means you can bat well with runners on base.

  3. LOB is like a negative stay for hitters. When the batter comes up with lets say bases loaded but gets out and no one scores. He would get 3 lob(3 runnerse left on base).
