I found this on another answer I asked. what is the Youth Allowance with Rent Assistance. it was about living cost for an international students in australia

youth allowance is money from centrelink, if you are an independant  & studying full time, not working, or not working enough to support yourself you should qualify.

rent assistance is similar, if you don't get enough money on your own the gov. will help pay for some of your rent
