  1. The human condition is attatchment, as I see it. It is what keeps us from moving forward. It keeps us stuck: in old, self defeating patterns, in relationships that are less than they could be, in lives that are not lived up to our greatest potential.

Consider a life without attatchment. A life in which we let go of what doesn't serve us-we let it pass, like water  moving around a rock pile. It just detours itself, and keeps going--with no memory of the rocks it retrouted itself around.

Here is the kicker though. It may be the human condition, but as long as we keep rerouting ourselves, and don't get hung up on the rocks, we are free. The condition implies that we must, as the song goes, "pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and start all over again." As long as we commit to this, It is a condition that can't hold us back.
